Two really bad pictures (the lighting in the basement is terrible) of an exciting happening in Nate and Jerem's life. They saved up enough money to buy a nice, used drum set. We had been keeping our eyes out for one, at a price that they could handle and were excited to come across this set in the local paper. Joel, my dad and the boys took a trip out to see them and came home with a drum set in great condition and several packs of new sticks and books. The boys were very excited and it has made them want to practice more.
Jeremiah was thrilled the set was red, which is his favorite color. Luke might be our next little drummer boy, if he doesn't go deaf first. He sits right by the bass drum while they practice.
So my afternoons have become even more loud and noisy. After three years of lessons and practicing it is so nice that they have a full set to play on, and I am thrilled at the lesson they learned in saving up for something that they really wanted.
