My friend Carol's little baby Emmet is adorable, and seems to be pretty healthy. She was so glad to be able to head home with him and not have the lengthy NICU stay they were gearing up for. There is a mass right between his eyes, on his forehead. They will be having doctor appointments coming up, but for now, she is home and settling in with life with a newborn again.
It was good to see our family this past weekend at a graduation party for two of Kevin's brothers. Kevin seems to be doing well. The doctors are hopeful that they caught the graft-vs-host disease early and that they can fight it off. Please keep Kevin and his family in your prayers. This is one of those things that never fully goes away, and is always in the back, or front, of their minds.
But Kevin looked well. His hair is growing in so nicely now, and he was off and playing with cousins and friends.
Timothy is still so fussy. We really feel that most of it is related to the Reflux. He gags alot and other symptoms that seem to point to it being that. He sometimes has a hard time eating, I think because it hurts him to. He still cries most of the day. If he isn't being held, and often when he is being held.
Timothy is seven weeks old already. I will have to put up a fun picture-y post very soon.
Thank you so much for your prayers ladies (and gentlemen, not sure any men read my blog), we appreciate them more than you know.
