Our Sick Little Ones

We had a week or two of good health.  We enjoyed some walks outside, and trips to the local Library for story time and to watch the cutest little baby chicks hatch.  It was so fun to get to hold the peeps and actually watch a few of them peck their way out of their shells.

Then this horrendous stomach bug hit our little guys.  Luke was so sick that he quickly became lethargic and dehydrated.  He was admitted into the hospital Friday afternoon and stayed for three days.  On Saturday Timmy started with the stomach virus and he spent Monday night in the ER hooked up to an IV to get fluids in him for six hours. He had started throwing up any little bit of liquid we could coax him to take and was becoming pretty dehydrated. Joel went with him then dropped him off at home early in the morning while he ran in to work to make arrangements to have the day off.  Timmy is still pretty yucky feeling, but we are hopeful that the IV fluid put him on this side of getting well and in a few days he will be on the mend.  Luke is still not back to normal.  He is very tired and a grumpy little bear.  We miss our healthy little boys, and are praying that they recover quickly. 

The rest of us are good.  Nate and Benny were also sick, but seemed to recover quick.  No one else has had it (yet). 

I can't wait until we are back to good health and can enjoy the springtime and the visit from Aunt Nae Nae and the girls!  It has been pretty torturous to know they are a mere half mile up the road, and yet we cannot visit.  Boo.
