One night as we were traveling in the van, the kids were trying to come up for a name for their new sibling. Nate remembered that all the kids in our family have a name from the Bible, so they started thinking along those lines.
Jeremiah came up with Jesus! The other kids all agreed, and then he went a step further and said we should name the baby Jesus Christopher. Ummm, no. We have already used that middle name for Elijah.
Between the boys they came up with Joseph. A bit better, but probably not a contender. Then Rachael chimed in with:
"And if he's a girl we can call him Mary!"
Poor thing, she has such little use with feminine pronouns around this home!
We have no idea yet about a name for this new little he or she, but it is fun to listen to what the kids come up with.

This was too cute. How about Habukuk? Love Ya!
Hey...I was on the blog of a pastor in the Caymen Islands and they just named their son Titus...I love that Jeremiah thought of Jesus. CB thought that was neat too. Love ya, Shannon
I love hearing about the kids talk about the baby. It's so neat that they get so excited each time! We always have been able to come up with 'A' name but always have trouble with the 'backup' one. Although we hadn't settled on Caleb's whole name til the week before he was born. We thought he was going to be a "Natalie". But then we never even had a girls name when Josiah was born. I know you'll have fun pickin one out! Can't wait to hear what it is! :)
