Just as soon as he shovels out the grill from under all this snow.
I don't know how much is out there now, it is still coming down pretty steady. There is about three feet, since our garden fence is completely covered up, and only about a foot of yard fence is showing. (The pictures above are several hours old) Kind of exciting! It won't be fun to get out there tomorrow and un-bury the car and van (very hard to reach the top of the van!) but it looks kind of pretty. Makes me want to read "The Long Winter" and make something yummy for dinner and dessert. Maybe we will have a cozy game night tonight with the kids.

thats crazy that you can't even tell there is a road there. Im sure glad I dont have to clean all that mess but it sure would be fun to play in for a day!
hey - your place looks like ours! :)
the kids and I had fun yesterday in the midst of the storm shoveling out individual dug outs in the backyard and shoveling pathways to each one then making it a "home" - katelyn and caleb were busy cooking and eating and Josiah was busy "cleaning"/fixing up his spot - he said it was his quiet time room :)
we built up the walls pretty high but as I look out there this morning it looks like we have to go out and clean house again today - theirs probably another 8 in on top of everything.... it should be pretty neat when we're done - even higher walls! maybe we can make tunnels!
not much else to do with this much snow. hope the kids have fun! don't lose Asher and Eli!!!
