Sister

Asher LOVES his roomate, Rachael. He doesn't often call her by her name. He calls her, "Sister". It is really cute to listen to him call for her through the house. He always wants to lay in bed with her at night and snuggle before we make him go to his own crib. Sometimes he is so silly, he will pretend to snore and shut his eyes, hoping we will let him stay with her all night.

Rachael LOVES her littlest brother. Asher likes to sit and do school with the children, usually he colors in coloring books or on papers that they give him. Yesterday he sat on Rachael's lap while she did her math work. I don't think it helped Rachael be more productive, but it sure is sweet to watch her be patient and loving with her brother. (After a time, I made him get down and go play so Rachael could work a little bit more attentively)

It is fun, watching the older ones' relationships with the little ones grow and develop. Nate, Jeremiah and Rachael are such a big help to me, and Benny, Eli and Asher love them. When Asher is crying and upset there are many willing to hold him and soothe him. This next baby is going to be even more spoiled!!
