A Little Bit of Santa

Last week Joel and Benny had the Cub Scout Christmas party and cookie party.  Each family brings a few dozen cookies, some to eat at the party, the others to donate to a charity.  Joel took the five oldest children with him this year.  Elijah was excited to see Santa.  We don't really "do" Santa as a family, but somehow the children are all excited to see him, and like to tell him what they want.  Maybe just in case, maybe, it could be possible that he is real!
They enjoyed playing Christmas BINGO together, eating lots of cookies and drinking milk.  I did not go because Asher HATES Santa Claus and wants to be no where near him, and Luke wasn't feeling the best.  Our little Lovie has been fighting illness after illness, they are all starting to blur together.
Benny enjoyed telling Santa what he wanted (a guitar) and receiving his Pinewood Derby car kit as a gift.  Santa does this each year for the Cub Scouts and they all look forward to it.
Here is an example of my Christmas picture taking handicap.  I wanted to include it just to show the increasing level of noise and hyperactivity  excitement and anticipation that the children are having each day.  So glad that today, despite being the official start of winter, was a gorgeous, unseasonably warm day.  We all spent time outdoors, going for a nice walk and getting some of that excitement out!

Only 3 more days!!!
