Please join me as I pray for my friend, Susannah's little baby. Verity is one week younger than Luke. She has Down Syndrome and the related heart defects. We just visited this family on Monday and had a wonderful time. They have nine children, so the dinner I brought along to share was quite large :)
Verity's condition, heart failure, is going downhill very quickly. Her surgery date was moved to next week, and now will be moved up to possibly tomorrow. She is struggling for life and health and breath. Her mother tells it better at www.theblessingofverity.com. Susannah is a very godly mother, a real example of grace in the midst of great trial. Her blog is a little sermonette in itself. You will be blessed, and encouraged and convicted if you have the time to read back through some of her posts.
