Little Timothy is now seven months old. And he couldn't be cuter. He is crawling all over the house now, and eyeing up the stairs. He is in love with banana and rice cereal, and pretty much refuses to eat anything not equally sweet. So sweet potatoe, corn casserole and pears are all a go. Mixed veggies, chicken noodle dinner? Not a chance.
Timothy is challenging. We have sure had more pleasant babies around here. Joel and I often make up what we think Timothy is thinking, and most of it is pretty unpleasant and grumpy. He often has a ticked off look on his face, which can be amusing to us big people, and at least allows for some laughs in the middle of the night. He is still waking up at odd hours and then starting the day nice and early, even before the birds. Timmy is quite spoiled, and that probably contributes to his fussing when he isn't getting what he wants. It isn't all my fault. For instance before I sat down to check the email and write this, I placed him in the jumper. Is he there now? No. Someone rescued him and is carrying him around the house. This happens all day long. Sometimes I say, "No-one take Timmy out of the play-pen. Even if he is screaming, leave him alone.". But then I come back to find one, or two children IN the play-pen with him! So many little helpers around here. And I am thankful for them all.
Timothy has been sick lately. He goes back to the Dr. today to check on his lungs and see if the medicines have been helping. He also had/has an ear infection. Hopefully we can get him all cleared up in time to celebrate his first Christmas. And keep the rest of us healthy in the process.
Timothy still has just two teeth, his top front, but his gums are all swollen so we should see some new ones soon. Poor little man, no wonder he is fussy.
He weighs 17 pounds now.
He has six big brothers who adore him, and a big sister who is a second momma.
Timothy LOVES Nathanael. His whole face lights up when Nate come in the room, and especially when Nate carries him all around the house. Which he does alot.
Timothy waves "Hi!". It is really cute. He waves his fist around in the air and smiles. It seems he understands when he should do this. Often he waves at Joel when he comes home from work.
So that is the update on our littlest boy. Thanking God for the gift of Timothy Jordan!
