Luke was 10 months old yesterday! Time is going by in a hurry with our little boy. It is hard to get a nice photograph of him, since he is busy, busy busy. He keeps us all on our toes. He tries to climb the steps, he pulls over tables (he did this last evenign while I was folding laundry), he dumps laundry and dish towel drawers. He discovered the wonders of under the kitchen sink and the tupperware cabinet! He hides from us. One of his favorite spots to sit is the foot wide space behind our sofa. He crawls back there, and sits, all alone. His little space of solitude. The first time he did this, I panicked and started searching all over for him. Now it is the first place to check if we cannot see Lukey. This little boy is one our most adventurous children to date.
Luke enjoys all kinds of food now. He eats quite a few containers of baby foods each day. He enjoys puffed wheat (not as much as the more expensive Gerber puffies) and pieces of bread. He likes bits of our food off our plates at dinner. He is still drinking a few bottles a day of milk, and to our dismay, still getting up at night several times a week to eat then. That is a bad habit, but he is sooo loud and we are sooo tired it is easier to get up, feed him (he also is usually soaked through his clothing) and get back to sleep than to listen to him cry it out for an hour (or longer). But we are paying for our softness. :)
Oh little Luke, what joy you bring to our home. You make us laugh. We all love you very much. Happy 10 month birthday, Lovie!

Baby Luke you are so cute! I hope you are not 11months next time mommy posts on her blog, my goddness we havent seen you all dressed up for Easter ; )
